CANZA recognizes that farmers don’t work alone, they work in partnership with different types of crop advisors. To this end, CANZA and Sustainable Food Lab are developing a robust partnership with agronomists working in Ontario to ensure that they are at the center of program design and have what they need to support farmers into the future. Sustainable Food Lab specializes in scaling sustainable agriculture practices by working with agronomists to implement regionally specific soil health practices and programs and will work with Ontario agronomists to develop a soil health training curriculum and agronomist informed program design over the next year to ensure the Million Acre Challenge Program is scaled with the required support.
