As an action-oriented initiative that brings together stakeholders from across the agri-food system in support of a net-zero agri-food value chain, the Canadian Alliance for Net-Zero Agri-food needs you!

  • FARMERS & FOOD INDUSTRY ENTREPRENEURS - We would greatly appreciate your deep knowledge and lived experience, coupled with your commitment to experiment and innovate. These qualities are crucial to CANZA meeting its objectives. We want to partner with you and help bring other key players to the table, making it easier and economically viable for you to take risks and adopt new ways of working to the benefit of you, your family, and your business.
  • PRIVATE SECTOR - We would benefit from your leadership, expertise, and investment to help advance new technologies, adopt new practices, and open up new markets that can ease the transition costs for our farmers and our broader economy.
  • ACADEMIA, NGOs, AND CIVIL SOCIETY - Your evidence and insights would help us shorten the innovation cycle. The enormous networks you cultivate would help us shine a light on the value of “AND” — the value of pursuing national strategies such as this that can be good for Canadians and the environment, AND good for business and the economy.
  • INDIGENOUS GOVERNMENTS, ORGANIZATIONS, COMMUNITIES - We recognize that Indigenous communities have stewarded these lands for people and nature from time immemorial. CANZA aims to support Indigenous-led aspirations for the future of food systems and food security that benefit their communities.  We are eager to explore opportunities to provide value to these aspirations through our work and learn from Indigenous leadership along the way.
  • PUBLIC SECTOR - We need smart public policy, investments in research and infrastructure, and grants that enable, incentivize and reduce the risk of the transition to a net-zero agri-food future.

Let us know how you would like to be involved in CANZA by completing the “Get in Touch With Us” form at the bottom of this website or by reaching out to us at info@canza.ca.
